Luang Prabang is a centre for handicraft in Laos. Silk, cotton, bamboo, rattan weavers, produced with the local raw material. Pottery art, blacksmith and silversmith using traditional tools and methods.
Gastronomy is also one of the major specificity in Luang Prabang with endemic plants and local meals known to be the finest in Laos.
